Sketch Crawl in Glendale at the Americana

Got there late but managed to get a couple people in... wish I had been there earlier and had brought better paper.. oh well.. these are the sketches I think were successful..

For the new year

Im hoping to seriously post a lot more... I took the holidays to reset and see family and haven't drawn a single thing.. that will all change tonight Im sure as Im looking forward to breaking in some of this laser paper :) so here are my resolutions

1. MORE GIRLS... lots more girl drawings this year.. I really want to get to drawing beautiful girlie drawings .. Ive lately been inspired by Kiraz, Glines, Dan DeCarlo, Justin Coffee, Don Flowers, and numerous other artists ( my finace included )

2. More complete pieces... I have to get down on some layout.. and Im excited about this for once.

3. Meet more artists and make more good art friends ( I have a ton but I really enjoy getting to know the art community :) )

4. Get into at least 5 shows .. I am in one in feb I believe it is , that means I have to get into 4 more! ;)

5. Post much more frequently.... and I will.

Engaged

So Yesterday ( Friday) Kristen and I went to Disneyland to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. The day was absolutely fantastic, it was probably about as perfect as a day at Disney could be for us short of getting the magical dream pass to stay for a week for free and continue our trip LOL
Every time we stood in a line it seemed like someone asked if we wanted fast passes to the front of the line or else the line was super short for some reason.. so we rode everything we wanted to pretty much without any real wait time... so after having diner at the Blue Bayou ( the restaurant in the pirates ride ) that was ... good ... we decided to watch the fireworks .. that was cool... and we sat down and waited for Fantasmic to start ( a water and laser light show production thing ) we decide to doodle.. since all I had was a receipt for a sweater I bought we opted to play tic tac toe ( which I lost Im blaming my loss on nerves though LOL ) I then used this as my opportunity and said "hey lets play hang man!!!!" 7 or 8 tries later she revealed "MARRY ME" to which there was much confusion on wether or not I was serious.. a blue and white 3 diamond ring soon solved the question of wether or not I was serious *L*... needless to say she said "YES"........ so I am now Engaged to Kristen ( cannedcampbellsoup.blogspot.com) I am probably the happiest I have been in ages.. It makes sense and now life feels a step closer to being somewhat complete
